London bombing terms surge to the top of Technorati

Bloggers are looking for blog news in relation to the London Blogging, with related searches topping Technorati as news of the terrorist attacks become more widely known and as the US East coast awakes. At 10:40 GMT, related terms held positions 1,4, 6 and 9 in the Top 10 Technorati searches for the hour. I’d expect this to rise as the sun rises across the US.

Update 11:25GMT: Technorati now offline and uncontactable, perhaps due to bombing related traffic (??)

Update 12:15 GMT: Technorati back up, bombing terms now dominating all search positions

I can’t get through to Technorati right now, it seems to be chockablock. But my blog is being inundated by Technorati searches.

Uggh, I am so, so sorry to see that this has happened again : ( It brought me to tears this morning, remembering what we through here on & after 9/11… it left a scar that is apparently far from healed. I think a good part of America is crying in their coffee this morning, in solidarity with the UK. Hang in there Londoners!

Duncan, just an FYI…you wrote “Bloggers are looking for blog news in relation to the London Blogging” Didn’t think you meant to write London BLOGGING.

Listen to Winnie—One ought never to turn one’s back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half.
