Darren Rowse over at Problogger has announced that based on Adsense revenue alone he is now officially a Six Figure blogger. I’d note that like most people though that Darren also has advertising agreements in addition to this so I’m guessing next stop might be 7 figure blogger.
Hard work, determination, perserverance, all qualities Darren has, and what better example that you can make money from blogging if your willing to work hard, stick at it, and don’t expect to be rich overnight or even in 6 months. Remember, Darrens being do this for over 2 years.

Isn’t that good news (especially that he’s an Aussie) – but I bet it’s going to bring him some flak … seems you’re not allowed to make an income from blogging, and if you do and state it, you’re big-noting yourself or being a shameless self-promoter.
Darren is a hard worker and deserves all the success he has had (see how I didn’t say ‘luck’ – because at the end of the day, it’s hard work day-in, day-out that makes you a success).

Couldn’t agree more. Darren’s already taken some flack in the past as well, but at the end of the day he doesn’t have to share his tips and bits and pieces with us because there isn’t a lot of money in it for him (blogging terms suck for adsense returns). Tall poppy syndrome unfortunately is alive and well in Australia….
