Technorati announces second web spam summit

Technorati has announced a second “web spam summit” to take place next week at the Googleplex.

The summit will bring together people from companies and projects involved in blogging for a day-long summit to exchange idea’s on ways to address spam blogs and comment spam.

So far Ask Jeeves, Feedster, Google, Microsoft, Six Apart, Tucows, WordPress, and Yahoo! have all confirmed their attendance.

    I don’t care so much about the spam blogs, but the comment spam is especially annoying. I hope something good comes of the conference.
