Has Google purged the spam blogs?

Some reports are coming in that Google may have finally woken from its Adsense-revenue induced spam blog slumber and has moved to purge spam blogs from Blogger.

Perhaps a little premature as I was able to find a number of spam blogs, but there seems to be a whole lot less, with only 3 out of 25 blogs I stumbled across using the “next blog” function on Blogger being spam blogs. Has Google finally responded to the concerns of the blogging community? one can only hope so.

    I read the feed from http://fightsplog.blogspot.com/ … Although, there hasn’t been a post since Saturday … it’s interesting to follow. No idea who that guy is though – he calls himself the Splog Fighter ? ? ?
