No one thinks it’s being written out of Chicago. I don’t know how you get that impression. The site was built on the bones of Chicagoist and they just haven’t managed to update the link section yet. That was my point.
We’re not really hating on Miamist either, but it’s like when you own a local coffee shop, and then StarBucks sets up right next door.

hilarious. give miamist a few weeks to get up to speed. gothamist has been in nyc for 3 years, and we are still fixing things every day.
