State of the Blogosphere

Dave Sifry from Technorati has published his latest state of the blogosphere. Rather than rehash it all, read it :-)

A couple of interesting things to note though. This time around Dave has learnt to use the words “Technorati currently tracks” as opposed to claiming that the number of blogs they track represents the entire blogosphere (which it doesn’t). He claims that 9% of new blogs are spam blogs (lower than some other estimates), and around 50% of blogs they track are still active 3 months after creation.
