Om Malik reports that SixApart is rumored to have taken $12 million in Series C funding (think venture capital, but the 3rd round). The company has also been valued at between $80-$100 million USD. If it’s true congrats to the SixApart team (Anil, Ben, Mena and the rest…), although in my dying days of writing The Blog Herald I’d love to know what you are using it for, it could be one of only two things:
1. You’re not making enough money and are running out, hence need the funding.
2. You want to acquire another company/ or have some amazing new product to fund.

I hope it’s 2.
