Google Docs Moves Offline

Filed as News on April 1, 2008 6:28 am

Great news for mobile bloggers! Google Docs is now available offline, almost all of it (although only in English right now) using the Google Gears browser plugin. This means that you’ll be able to continue working on your Google Docs, err, documents whenever you don’t have an Internet connection.

I must agree with Erick Schonfeld over on TechCrunch though. The competition did this, using said Google Gears, quite some time ago. Why not until now, Google?
