If you’ve not noticed, twitter appears to be having some problems with updates this weekend.

Last night I thought maybe folks were just out having a good time on a Saturday night, but I started noticing that if you clicked through to their profiles or looked on FriendFeed that they had twitter updates – yet those updates weren’t showing in my twitter stream.

Frustrating, for sure.

Twitter appears to continue to have growing pains – hopefully they’re able to continue to scale as needed to keep up with their growth of a highly popular service.

Both Paris Lemon and Matthew Ingram have also noticed this issue over the last day or so.
