Blogger changed the world
The web’€™s been around for 15 years now and several websites out there are celebrating this. Well, perhaps not celebrating, it’€™s more of a taking a chance to publish something that relates to today, but still being a bit historical. Most publications like to look back, it makes them look like they know something about the past, and feel more up to date at the same time.
An article over at The Guardian (from The Observer, which is confusing) has listed 15 websites that changed the world, and Blogger is among them. Other sites of interest to bloggers include MySpace and Youtube. Now, this isn’€™t just a list up and down, it also includes a few words about the site and a brief history so it’€™s a nice read for all us web lovers out there – even if we didn’t make it on there ourselves. The fact that I don’€™t agree with it is irrelevant, it’€™s a good read.
