Google Blog hacked
A strange post on the official Google Blog over the weekend resulted in a startling admission by Google that their blog had been hacked:
A bug in Blogger enabled an unauthorized user to make a fake post on the Google Blog last night, claiming that we’ve discontinued our AdWords click-to-call test. The bug was fixed quickly and the post removed.
Having been the victim of a hack before, this is understandable. Then again, I’m my own tech staff, and Google likely has hundreds of systems administrators.. and to see a hack through their Blogger service is even scarier…
Let’s hope they can get things together…
