Variety’s Peter Bart Starts Blogging

Hollywood’s number 1 movie magazine, Variety, is actually pretty good online. It just got better, with editor in chief Peter Bart’s recently launched blog, where he writes shorter pieces reflecting on movies, actors, events, and other things. Like the death of Sydney Pollack and why critics didn’t get him, Sex and the City, and Tom Cruise’s eye patch.

This might evolve into a must read if you’re a movie buff, but if nothing else it shows that Variety wants to stay on top of things online.
