Nominations open for 2006 Bloggies

The mother of all blogging awards, The 2006 Weblog Awards, (aka The Bloggies) are now opened. Despite there seemingly being yet another blogging award-competition announced every week, the Bloggies are the grand old lady of blogging awards and usually regarded as being the best of the best.
Who’s that blonde woman jumping up and down and waving her arms wildly, under a neon sign that flashes, “Pick Me! Pick Me!� ?
