Sixty Million Chinese can’t be Wrong
May 8, 2006
CNet’s News.com is reporting that China will have 60m bloggers by year’s end. With 110m internet users in China today, by year’s end more than half of them will be blogging – an enormous percentage.
An example of China’s blogging growth can be seen in Bokee, China’s largest blogging site, which claims to be adding more than 100,000 new bloggers each day.
Update:
We’ve changed the title of this post – it wasn’t our intention to offend. Thanks for the feedback.
You really shouldn’t be using the word “Chinamen”… totally innapropriate. If not only because it’s dated, some percentage of that 60 million are certainly female.
The term “chinaman” is a very offensive and derogatory term used to identify people of Chinese ethnicity. What gives?
Chinamen? You’re aware that’s roughly equivalent to saying ‘negroes’, right?
Hi,
My apologies – I’ve updated the title. It wasn’t our intention to offend.
