Splashpress Acquires 901am
There was a brief post over at 901am.com yesterday by “admin” announcing the acquisition of 910am.com by Splashpress Media, the owners of the Blog Herald-:
We are pleased to announced that Splashpress Media has acquired 901am.com. We remain committed in bringing new media news throughout the day. We are currently working on moving the site to a new server. Thank you for your patience.
What has been missing from this announcement and its aftermath, as one would usually expect, is any word from David Krug himself. In this light, Splashpress have asked me to release the following statement-:
In the aftermath of the 901am.com sale, Splashpress would like to take the opportunity to thank David Krug for the marvellous job he did in building 901am.com and in such a short period. We believe the site still has great potential to grow and to dominate the niche that covers new media news. We are happy to announce that Minic Rivera, contributor at the Blog Herald and former editor of the Blogging Times, has agreed to be editor of 901am. And last, but not least, we would like to wish David Krug a speedy recovery, as he has been unwell now for a few weeks. Please join us in our prayers for him.

Huh? Krug, get better. Ping me when you are back. I hope soon. Health is most important thing.
Just a heads up, your 901am.com link actually points to 90am.com, which is an adsense hole.
Yes, David needs everyone’s well wishes. Please send him your prayers.
David–you are missed…we’ll be here to welcome you back when you’re ready.
Thinking of you,
Sharon
So what’s the deal – I get an invitation to continue blogging at 901am via email.
But then my account gets shut off.
I guess I should expect this sort of behavior, but geesh —
Matt
Sorry for that, Matt. All user accounts were borked during the move (long story; trust me, I’ve lost a couple of days’ sleep over all this).
My archives are also missing from 901am.
What’s going on here?
Matt, here it is: http://www.901am.com/author/matt-craven
As I mentioned, the server move broke a lot of things as we weren’t able to do it in a “clean” way, so to speak (again, long story).
User accts are now full user names.
You might want to fix the homepage links

The archive for author David Krug is also borked
Matt- as you know, there are always teething problems when a site moves to a new server. Patience, please.
For some reason I always thought David Krug and Splashmedia were “one” or at least that he was employed by them. Don’t know why. Good luck to everyone involved though. I was enjoying 901am so hopefully it stays the same with frequency and quality. It quickly became one of those start-up bookmarks each morning.
