TypePad sick according to SixApart paying customers

Reports are emerging about problems with SixApart’s paid blogging service TypePad, with users unable to log into the service and blogs disappearing completely from the internet for several hours at the time.
Neville Hobson reports at WebProNews that the problems have been going on for several days, and that the company posted a message to users on the sign in screen Friday that the issues had been resolved, despite which they then continued over the weekend and into Monday.
As is not unusual for the often secretive company, no comment had been issued publicly at any of the SixApart websites, nor VP Anil Dash’s blog at the time of writing.
“As is not unusual for the often secretive company, no comment had been issued publicly” — This is flat-out wrong. Status updates have been appearing throughout the day on status.sixapart.com and the main typepad page has been updated with a comment about their problems (see the “Typepad News” section).
