Blogger Claims He Predicted Indonesian Earthquake

According to Steve Rubel (via webpronews), A blogger by the name of Dan Sherman has put out a press release claiming that four months ago on his blog he predicted the earthquake that caused the Asian Boxing Day Tsunami disaster.

Quotes include:
“On September 2, 2004, business blogger Dan Sherman posted the following on his blog, “I just hope the intensity of the [seismic event doesn’t directly correlate with the intensity of the physical manifestation I’ve been experiencing. If it does, it will be absolutely devastating. Let’s hope I’m wrong.”

Sherman says, “I had to get it in the public domain because I knew with 100% certainty that there was going be a major event. In the 24 years that I’ve been experiencing this physical sensation, I had never experienced the intensity as I had in the last few days of August of 2004.

And we thought Danah Boyd was whacky!.

  • He should be easy to spot at least. He would be the one with the tin foil hat looking for black helicopters. Nothing like a vague prediction of there going to be an earthquake to take credit for later.
