Blogging in the Arab World

The Washington Post had a great piece on blogging in the Arab world yesterday, interviewing some of the top bloggers in the region. What really struck me was how different the priorities seem to be in that part of the world; whereas many of us are concerned about A-list rankings and the latest hype in the technosphere (Web3.0? COME ON!) many of these bloggers risk their lives using blogs as a tools for the promotion of human rights and political activism
