Min Hee Jin, a renowned personality in the K-pop industry, and currently a shareholder in the music label ADOR, has landed herself in the middle of a controversy. Her ambition to gain complete control over ADOR has triggered a dispute that’s resonating through the industry and challenging the inherent power dynamics.

Min began her illustrious journey in the music industry as a graphic designer for SM Entertainment in 2002. She quickly moved up the ranks to become the creative director, a role in which she oversaw the creation of distinctive album covers for top K-pop groups. Min’s eye for detail and innovation, combined with her technological expertise, ultimately led to her establishing her own design agency in 2012.

While at SM Entertainment, Min contributed to some of the most successful group concepts. Despite occasionally sparking controversy, she was commended for her positive influence on artist branding and thematic elements.
