A student at Lenape Valley Regional High School in New Jersey was arrested last week for making terrorists threats on a MySpace blog.
According to the New Jersey Herald, the 17-year-old, whose name was not released because he is a minor, posted proposed acts of violence against his school teachers and classmates.
No further details were available.
People are probably making threats all the time, but somehow the fact that someone uses a blog connected with MySpace, it becomes newsworthy with the implication somehow being that involved with MySpace in some way influenced the person’s behavoir. Would it still have been a story if the person had used Blogger?
