WordPress 2.5 Redesigned Admin Hits WordPress.com

Matt announced that the redesigned WordPress 2.5 admin interface have been rolled out on WordPress.com. If you’ve got a blog there, just login and you’ll see it in all its glory.

Thord Daniel Hedengren is a designer, writer, and blogger, and also the former editor of The Blog Herald. He used to be a hotshot in the gaming industry in Sweden, but sold everything and went International. Most recently he wrote a book called Smashing WordPress: Beyond the Blog, and does loads of kickass design.

  • I don’t really understand why so many people love the new WordPress admin panel, I really don’t like it. The “write a post” page isn’t very functional, you have to scroll to do things, I loved the old panel where all of the post options were along the right side. also, the plugin page is a little hard to read, the text just isn’t as defined as the old panel use to be.
