Black Owned Business Expo Strengthens Local Economy
Paying tribute to Black History Month, a Black Owned Business Expo was held by a Northwest Arkansas-based group. Almost 70 Black-owned businesses participated in the event, showcasing their offerings and promoting local community engagement. This initiative was an opportunity for the community to learn about various Black-owned businesses and their unique products and services. The Expo served as a platform for networking and appreciating Black economic influence.
This 7th semi-annual event displayed the organization’s commitment to strengthening the local Black entrepreneurial community. Each year, the event has seen growth in participant and visitor engagement, becoming a networking platform for potential collaborations among small and medium-sized Black-owned businesses. The consistent success of the Expo has inspired more budding entrepreneurs to join the Black business community.
