Blogger Gets Baseball Star’s Attention
One blogger has received some major league attention from baseball player Raul Ibanez after insinuating that the athlete’s stellar start to the season might be a result of steroid abuse.
“You can have my urine, my hair, my blood, my stool — anything you can test,” Ibanez said, according to the report. “I’ll give you back every dime I’ve ever made” if the test is positive, he added.
First, you gotta love the power of the Internet. Little-known blogger JROD has thrust himself into some serious national media. Second, you have to give Raul Ibanez credit for taking a stand. I am a firm believer that writers should be held accountable for their statements – regardless their level of notoriety.
Looks like JROD has used up several of his 60 seconds of fame. I will say that his original post was mostly fair and balanced, with him merely raising the questions – not pointing fingers. So in that regard, I think he comes out OK from the mess.

I found that the statement is too chaep. If baseball player is going to stand for this blogger than it is good for blogger.
