Threads has rolled out its much-anticipated Direct Messaging (DM) functionality, providing a platform for users to engage in real-time interactions and build connections. Exhibiting a significant evolution, the feature enhances user experience and broadens communication capabilities.

Reimagining its blue checkmark symbol, Twitter now denotes premium X subscription instead of simple account verification. A significant departure from its previous political connotation, the symbol, even on high-profile accounts without their consent, signifies the user’s premium subscription. Acceptance of this alteration is gradually increasing.

LinkedIn is revamping its collaborative features by incorporating AI in suggesting shared articles to users as they draft their own. Additionally, to safeguard against potential employment scams, LinkedIn is introducing a verification badge for recruiters. These new features aim to enhance user participation and content sharing on the platform.

Building on the interconnectedness of Instagram and Threads, Threads introduced a feature combining the two platforms’ inboxes.
