Leading the media relations team is Colin Yoder, Director of Media and Public Relations, focusing on thought leadership and reputation management. The team also includes Missy Gleason, the Manager of Media Relations, and Katie Logan, Senior Media Relations Specialist, who takes charge of all feature story outreach and content creation. Each contributes unique expertise, completing the team are internal communication and social media specialists along with media specialists.
Katie Logan, the Advisor for Media and Public Relations, controls operations within OhioHealth’s chain of hospitals including OhioHealth Grant Medical and OhioHealth Grove City Methodist Hospital among others. She coordinates all communication, from press releases to public announcements, ensuring well-timed and effective delivery. Managing communication for different hospitals and setting strategic plans also come under her mandate. Her role is pivotal in maintaining OhioHealth’s strong image and commitment to quality care.
The media relations team is further strengthened by Media and Public Relations Managers like Marcus Thorpe and Stephanie Stanavich, who oversee communication for varied OhioHealth facilities. Alongside, Public Relations Coordinators like Carol Harrington and Tom Barnett arrange media coverage, maintaining consistent information flow between OhioHealth and the public. This competent team’s efforts significantly push OhioHealth’s media relations objectives.
The vital team members include Keely Stockwell, a Media and Public Relations Manager in charge of OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital, OhioHealth Berger Hospital, and several others. On the support end, Olivia Weiss serves as a Media and Public Relations Specialist, providing essential support to all these units in their daily communication needs.
