Bridgewater College hosts senior art thesis exhibition
Bridgewater College in Virginia is holding an art thesis exhibition from April 22 to May 3, 2021. The show features final-year art and digital media art students and will be displayed in locations around the school, including the Beverly Perdue Art Gallery. This exhibition marks the culmination of years of work from these students, and is an expression of their artistic vision.
Guests are invited to view various installations and gain insight into the creative process of these upcoming artists. The exhibition will adhere to social distancing guidelines due to the ongoing pandemic, and virtual tours will be provided for those who are unable to attend in person.

Bridgewater College’s senior art showcase
The activities offer a chance to observe artistic skills firsthand. The closing ceremony is set for Saturday, April 27. All events are free and open to the public, with no advanced booking required.
Students will present unique narratives through their artwork, including Isabelle Bauer’s “Coastal Postal,” Khari Dublin’s animated film “The Encounter,” Sarah Henneberger’s interactive game demo, and Lydia Hough’s “Sunny (Red)” acrylic painting series. These highly thought-provoking and engaging pieces elucidate different experiences and outlooks, displaying the vibrant talent of the artists.
Upon graduation, Bauer plans to work at ColonialWebb as a content developer, while Dublin is interested in a role in advertising and design.
The Beverly Perdue Art Gallery will be open daily during the exhibition, with varying timings through the week. Remember that, the final admission is always half an hour before closing time.
